In the last year, artificial intelligence has increasingly entered people's daily lives, and this year the first AI devices for monitoring the health of cats and other pets are starting to appear.
At CES 2024, Invoxia unveiled the Minitailz Smart Pet Tracker, a wearable AI device designed specifically for cats and dogs. Minitailz is an all-in-one GPS and wellness device for pets, capable of measuring breathing rate and heart vitals, alerting owners to possible health issues.
Invoxia states that Minitailz can monitor abnormalities in pet behavior that may indicate a problem and can distinguish between walking, running, scratching, eating and drinking, barking, meowing and resting.
In addition to collecting information about your cat or dog's heart health, which is said to be 97 to 99 percent accurate, Minitailz can detect atrial fibrillation in pets. Detailed reports on health are provided in an application that is installed on the owner's mobile phone.
In addition to the artificial intelligence functions for monitoring the health of cats, the device also has a built-in SIM with GPS technology that allows tracking of daily activities or locating a pet in case of loss. There are also geofencing features so a cat or dog owner can be alerted if the pet strays from the property.

A dog version of Minitailz is available starting now on site-ul Invoxia, and the cat model is set to launch in March 2024. Both versions are priced at $99, with a subscription fee starting at $8.30 per month.
